Financial Discrimination

However, today we would like to bring at the table a serious question about Global problem which this product is part of.

The issue we are facing as customers can be called pricing unfairness. What does that mean?

Lets take a look at Apple’s basic Mac Mini (Apple M1 Chip with 8-Core CPU and 8-Core GPU 256GB Storage).

This unit sells in United States for $699. The exact same model at the moment is priced at $976.55 by authorised Apple Inc. retailer in EU country. There is $277.55 price difference per single unit and this is a perfect example of pricing unfairness.

At Creativeery we always look the coin on both sides. This being said we take into consideration the following:

  • transportation /export/ costs
  • taxes
  • different market minuses
  • the fact that businesses are made to make money

Some Company’s business strategies include benefits for local markets. This being said Apple’s M1 chip was first available in USA. Boosting local economy with better prices is not unusual. The questions are – is the right thing to do? Are you okay with 277.55 USD price difference as Company? As a business is equality part of your values?

We believe that Company of Apple’s caliber should not divide their customers and should give them equal opportunities by selling same product at same price in every corner of the world!

Even when the product is made elsewhere you can do the math (add extra costs) and have one global price. With such business plan you might end up making smaller profit but you will be on the winning side with your customers.

It is all about taking the right path. Single product being $277.55 more expensive is not reasonable, not acceptable, not fair. This stands for pure economical discrimination.

As customers if we can’t get equal pricing we strongly believe that Apple can take action by regulating and setting reasonable price limits of their products offered by authorised stores.

In the end of the day we are talking about Apple – worldwide innovation/technologies leader. As such you cary much more on your shoulders than simple business plan based on profit. At least we see it that way.
